Welcome to OLLI

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is a community of adults, who believe in lifelong learning, engagement and exploration. While OLLI's not-for-credit courses and workshops are designed for adults 50 and older, there is no age limit on membership, so if you find our programs attractive, we encourage you to apply! Our courses cover a wide range of topics, including art history, film, history, politics and economics, literature and language, and science. There are no mandatory exams, assignment or grades. We invite you to continue your journey of lifelong learning through our courses, lectures, and clubs.

Our fall program starts very soon! We have a really strong lineup of in-person and online courses starting in September. We are offering a range of topics including art, astronomy, folk/rock music, history, science, politics and current events. 4-week courses are $80 each and new members receive a 20% discount! Take unlimited courses this fall for $325 or unlimited courses in both the fall and spring for $795. Click the register online button below, call OLLI, or email us at olli@dominican.edu to register today.

I doubt there is any OLLI program better than ours. Thank you for so many fascinating hours in my life. Today, I came in person to show my love of the classes.

OLLI Trip to China

Date: May 16-27, 2027
Open to OLLI Members and Non-Members

In the second part of May, a group of OLLI members and Dominican community members will be heading for Beijing on a 12-day trip to China. You don't need to be an OLLI member to join, so feel free to invite your friends! Dean Yung-Jae Lee of the Barowsky School of Business will be leading the group. Five cities are on the itinerary: Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong. If you have never been to China before, and even if you have, this is a wonderful opportunity to get to know it 鈥 both the ancient and the modern. Recent decades have driven extensive infrastructure growth, positioning cutting-edge transit networks and modern skyscrapers directly alongside cultural treasures like the Forbidden City.

The OLLI office has registration forms available, and we will make them available next week on the website at www.dominican.edu/olli. In the meantime, please contact us at olli@dominican.edu/olli or (415) 458-3763 if you would like information.
